主な内容: バーンズ文書には、沖縄に関する書簡、報告、通信、出張中の極東軍との電話会話要旨、日米関係、自衛隊、日米地位協定、ジラード事件に関する資料も含まれいるということだが、このマイクロフィルムにはそれらの資料は収められておらず、エジプト、沖縄関連のパンフレットなどしか含んでいない。エジプト関連のパンフレットは1955年ころエジプト陸軍の参謀の一団が訪れた際にバーンズに渡されたもの。
