  ※1856-1919年の文書記録簿（Registers）（FO 802、FO 566）の掲載巻・頁、マイクロフィルムのロール番号、外交文書自体のシリーズ（FO 46、FO 371）中の簿冊の巻（＝レファレンス番号）・頁を指示する。1949年から1951年の分の資料については、Thomson Gale社のサイトに目録が掲載されている。
• 英国国立公文書館ウェブ・サイトのDiscovery で資料を検索することができる。FO 46 に限定して資料をブラウズするといったことも可能。
